You can register now and receive notification from Maxis once BlackBerry Z10 booking is available. RIM CEO Thorsten Heins unveil the Blackberry 10's final features and the BlackBerry Z10 earlier this month. BlackBerry Z10 is a touchscreen device like its predecessor Blackberry Torch. It has a 4.2 inch 1280 x 768 touchscreen display with 356 pixels density, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, support microSD upto 32GB. The 8 megapixels rear camera can record 1080p video and 2 megapixels front camera can record upto 720p video.

Research in Motion launches BlackBerry 10, changes corporate name

RIM CEO Thorsten Heins took to the stage to unveil the Blackberry 10's final features and the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10, which will be the first to run exclusively on the BB10 OS. Besides, Heins also announced that RIM is changing its name from "Research in Motion" to "BlackBerry.", with a vision of "One Brand, One Promise". According to CNBC, the new Nasdaq ticker symbol will be "BBRY".

BlackBerry 10 OS is one of the biggest launches by Blackberry. BB10 has a feature called Balance, which is geared toward professionals who use their devices for personal use and work by using swipe gestures to switch between "work" and "personal" profiles. RIM boasts that businesses can keep data secure without forcing employees to carry two mobile devices.

BB10 launches with over 70,000 applications, including Skype, Amazon Kindle and WhatsApp. BlackBerry Messenger also gets a big update. The chat client now offers video chatting and BBM Screen Share - a feature that lets users share their entire screens over BBM.


BlackBerry Flow was also unveiled. The feature allows users to move seamlessly between apps by using swipe gestures instead of a home button.

iOS 6.1 officially released for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Apple has made available the latest version of the iOS operating system, iOS 6.1. This update brings with it a few minor features, such as LTE support for more carriers (but no Malaysia carriers at the moment), the ability to purchase movie tickets through Fandango by asking Siri, a button to reset the advertising identifier, and the ability for iTunes Match subscribers to download individual songs from iCloud. 
The update comes in at 86.7MB for the iPhone 5 and should probably be downloaded over Wi-Fi. The update can be installed over-the-air or via iTunes, like most updates.

Samsung Galaxy Grand for South Korea

With the help of that pretty lady in photo, Samsung has announced the upgraded Samsung Galaxy Grand for its native South Korea. This Korean version Samsung Galaxy Grand has 1,4 GHz quad-core processor, along with LTE network support. The phone for foreign counterpart only equipped with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and support HSPA+ network only. Besides, it also come with additional features like NFC and USB 3.0.

HTC M7 to be launched on 19th Feb

HTC has announced that it will unveil its 2013 flagship smartphone, HTC M7 on 18th February in London by not on MWC. This news was leaked by a Twitter, Flavio. HTC M7 may using Qualcomm SnapDragon 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB Ram, 32GB storage. The display will be 4.7" 1080 Full HD display panel. The OS should be Android 4.1 (Jellt Bean) during its launch. Base on leaked screenshot, it supports 4G-LTE. However, we are unable to confirm whether it supports 4G-LTE by Malaysia's Telco like Digi, Maxis, Celcom, etc. We knew that iPhone 5 is not compatible with 4G-LTE in Malaysia at the moment. M7 maybe using the latest HTC Sense 5 UI. It has a standard clock and weather widget at lock screen as well as on desktop. Besides, additional 1 row of shortcut icon on desktop after shrink the size of clock and weather.
